We are so blessed to have a new painting by Joan Mostad installed December 4, 2021. The old painting remains behind it to be preserved as a part of our history. What a testament to the saving grace of Christ that the cross is empty!
Our worship space for Ash Wednesday, 2021
Worship here are St. Paul’s is an interesting mix of the old and the new. We do a traditional service meaning that we follow the tradition of gather, word, meal, send but then we add a bit of the contemporary to the mix. New hymns are added to old favorites, inclusive references are used to refer to God, and we work to affirm all people of God.
Right now things are a bit different. We have just returned to in-person worship July 11, 2021 but that doesn’t mean that you can’t join us for worship virtually! As we recognize our responsibility to care for all people we understand that some folks aren’t able to attend in person and that some of our friends worship with us from far away so we will continue to livestream our worship services for the forseeable future. If that is you then you may gather with us on our Facebook page, St. Paul’s Lutheran, Prince Rupert, for live streamed worship at 11:00 AM PST. You don’t have to have a facebook account to join us but can click this link:
